Jak leczyć RZS bez leków?

How to treat RA without drugs?

RA – can this insidious disease be treated without medication?

Can a healthy person understand what life is like for someone struggling with RA? When zipping up, getting a haircut or going up the stairs are unpleasant impediments to daily life. For many of us, rheumatoid arthritis, or RA for short, is associated as an ailment of the elderly, but the truth is that it can begin to develop at a young age as well. It is important to be able to recognize the first symptoms of the disease and act quickly before it takes away our enjoyment of life.

What is RA?

Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune chronic disease whose main symptoms are mainly unpredictable recurrence of pain, stiffness and swelling in the joints. However, the entire list of symptoms that can indicate its onset is very long. Noteworthy among them are muscle pain, a subfebrile state, loss of appetite, and general weakness. RA begins in the joints, but eventually attacks the entire body – the circulatory, cardiac, respiratory, muscular, nervous systems. Inflammation occurs in the synovial membrane of the joints, leading to deformation of the joint cartilage and stiffness of the joints themselves. The causes of the disease are still unclear, but several factors can influence its development, including genetics, gender (women contract it more often), a history of viral infections, immune system disorders, and lifestyle.

What treatment options do we know for RA?

Many doctors emphasize the importance of drug therapy combined with physiotherapy, proper diet and lifestyle changes. However, it is worth noting that most of the known RA medications can cause a number of unpleasant side effects, which means that by treating one ailment, we receive “as a gift” another. Patients to eliminate pain and inflammation often reach for Aspirin, or acetylsalicylic acid, not realizing that with frequent use it leads to serious stomach problems and remains in the system for a long period.

How to treat RA without drugs? Is it possible?

Yes! Compounds of natural origin are known to show much higher effectiveness than popular drugs on the market in eliminating pain and inflammation in the joints, and their effect has been validated scientifically. Among them, it is worth highlighting the extract of willow bark (Cortex salicis), known since ancient times as an effective remedy in combating inflammation and fever. This is because it contains salicylic acid compounds used to treat rheumatic arthritis, gout and other chronic rheumatic conditions, as well as glycosides, cinnamic acid derivatives, ellagic acid, flavonoids and tannins from the catechin group. All of the compounds listed here exhibit potent antipyretic, anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties, and do not cause unwanted side effects as aspirin does.

The efficacy of willow bark extract in the treatment of RA has been confirmed thanks to research conducted at the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin by Prof. Leonidas Samochowiec and Dr. N. Med. Alina Glinko. During the study, the properties of acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin – a synthetic compound) were compared with willow extract, showing that Cortex salicis exhibits similar analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects as aspirin at a 10-fold higher dose. It follows that the synthetic drug can be successfully replaced by a natural preparation, which will not cause any side effects in the process.

Salio SB – help for aching joints coming straight from nature!

Salio SB preparation is an effective alternative to synthetic RA drugs, and its main ingredients are compounds of natural origin:

Willow bark extract (Cortex salicis)

Frankincense (Boswellia serrata)

Black pepper extract (piperine)

Frankincense’s validity in treating joint disease has been confirmed through numerous scientific studies (Ammon, 2016; Ernsta, 2008; Abdel-Tawab, Werz and Schubert-Zsilavecz, 2011). This is because it contains unique alpha and beta boswellic acids and their derivatives:

Acetyl-beta-boswellic acid

11-keto-beta-boswellic acid

Acetyl-11-keto-beta-boswellic acid (known as AKBA)

These are responsible for inhibiting inflammatory processes in the joints. Their validity is based on the principle of synergy.

In turn, piperine, found naturally in black peppercorns, increases the level of absorption of active substances by acting on the intestinal cell membrane. In addition, it also exhibits antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties.

All the organic substances listed here, encapsulated in Salio SB, will effectively help to eliminate the problem of stiff and painful joints, without irritating the stomach and without negatively affecting the liver and kidneys. The power comes from nature, but confirmed by numerous scientific studies.
